NEO returns funds invested in ICO
The NEO board posted an ad on its blog informing that any investor who participated in the ICO NEO, which took place on September 7, 2016, can request a full refund of the funds spent in exchange for NEO tokens.
The company recalls that after the ICO, anyone could return their investments right up to the launch of the platform on October 17, 2016. In total, NEO received 15 such inquiries and returned 50,308,364 BTC to investors.
Now that the company has received sufficient funding to operate and develop the ecosystem for the next few years, in the light of tightening control over ICOs around the world and in China in particular, NEO again provides the opportunity to require funds invested in the company at the ICO stage. To get their money, investors should contact the company via e-mail before October 17, 2017 and send the tokens purchased at the ICO.
The NEO Council reports that it is doing everything possible for the long-term development of the system. To this end, in the fourth quarter of 2017, they intend to form a working group that will bring the NEO ecosystem into compliance with the rules adopted in large jurisdictions.
Recall that yesterday, Chinese regulators banned the ICO in the country. Against the backdrop of this news, the NEO course, which is specifically targeted at such ICOs, has dramatically gone down. The minimum was reached this morning below $ 19, after which the crypto currency played a part of the positions and is currently trading at $ 23.
