Gold Medusa added to the collection - long term investment plan

Hi Steemit Friends,

I have been talking about buying a gold Medusa for nearly 2 weeks. The plan was to purchase this with DEC earned from daily playing. I got a bit impatient and decided to purchase the card yesterday seeing the prices of DEC has reduced on steem engine. I put up a buy order of 4000 DEC which I think should be enough with my liquid DEC in my account. To my surprise, my order filled very quickly.

Last the cheapest card was $5.50 but when I went to check this morning there was one selling at $5.37. Looks like I just had enough without playing too many games this morning to make up the amount needed to purchase the card. Without further any hesitation, I quickly purchased the card. It costs 5812 DEC which I just had enough for.

I am very pleased with my purchase. The aim of this is to ensure I have enough gold cards to get the DEC bonus each time I win a match. It is my long term investment unless the team changes the rules which are out of my control. For those who are not aware, you will receive extra % of DEC each time you use gold cards and win a game.

The next card I probably aim for is the gold chicken which I have noticed I and many others use a lot. This card definitely is not cheap currently at $6.97, a bit out of reach.
