Fresh Strawberries in Japan

in #food8 years ago

Hi Steemit Friends,

Another fruit I like a lot is strawberries.

The strawberries in Japan is very expensive but for some reason they taste so good. I've been to other countries but it seems like the ones in Japan tastes the best.

The packet shown below was 700yen at the supermarket.

Have you tried Japanese Strawberries before?

Yes of course!
I think strawberries are very suitable in a country like Japan. That is why they are so fresh and nice.
The price (700 yen a box) is not too bad. In my country, the imported ones cost alot more.

where are you from? I think the price is expensive because I can finish them in one go :)

Singapore. Japan imported goods are always sold at a premium here.

i agree!! somehow the strawberries here taste the best. But its quite expensive 😓
I saw some really really expensive White or pale-ish pink ones. Have you tried those before?

yes the whitish ones are very expensive. I have twice and though they were the same haha. maybe I'll just stick to the red ones
