Governor Irwandi will Struggle Honorary Teacher Aspirations
Banda Aceh - Governor of Aceh, Irwandi Yusuf received delegation of honorary teachers, in his office on Wednesday 28/02/2018.
At the meeting, they asked the Governor of Aceh to fight for their aspiration, which is to obtain an appointment decree from honorary employee status to a civil servant.
On that occasion Governor Irwandi said, he will seek to convey the aspirations of honorary teachers to the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucracy Reform (Kemenpan RB).
Previously, hundreds of K2 honorary teachers planned to demonstrate peacefully in Aceh Governor's Office. But before he could convey oration, the governor immediately invited the delegation of teachers to bersaudiensi with him.
Among the questioned by these teachers is the status of 460 educators from Aceh who have passed Panselnas selection in the year 2013 ago but until now, their data is known not to be verified by Kemenpan RB.

"Perhaps because I change ministers too many times, but I will also make a letter and I will probably own it myself later in the afternoon," said Governor Irwandi who was accompanied by a special adviser to the Government of Aceh in economics and banking, Adnan Ganto, Assistant 3 Saidan Nafi, Personnel Aceh, Kamaruddin Andalah, and Head of Public Relations and Protocol Bureau, Mulyadi Nurdin. Irwandi said he was concerned with what happened to the honorary teachers. He mentioned that he would fight for the aspirations of honorary teachers, namely the state's recognition of their darmabakti, by directly facing and conveying the teachers' complaints in the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucracy Reform.
During the meeting, the governor also highlighted the quality of Aceh's education, which last year was ranked the third lowest in Indonesia. In fact, in terms of education budget, Aceh poured funds that are not small for financing and improving the quality of education. As much as 20 percent of the APBA budget is allocated directly by the Aceh Government.
In the vision and mission of the Aceh Government, Irwandi also launched three main programs concerning education, namely Aceh Carong, Aceh Meuadab and Aceh Teuga.
The Aceh Carong program emphasizes Aceh's educational achievements at the national level through improved facilities, teacher quality, and system improvement. While Aceh Meuadab focuses more on efforts to restore Aceh's khittah through the implementation of Islamic values and programs Aceh Teuga focuses on improving the resources of its young generation.
"Teach something that is quality for students so that the quality of students will increase," Irwandi said to the teachers of the honorarium.
The Governor made a mistake in his time, educators from Aceh used neighboring Malaysia as educators, whereas the facilities at that time were very limited. But now, said Irwandi, the situation has been reversed, Acehnese people who are now studying to the allied Malays, while the facilities in the country has been getting better.
To the teachers, he asked to take advantage of technological progress, as a teaching tool for students so that the quality of education in Aceh increases and not lags too far from other regions in Indonesia
