maybe not lazy @janton !!! but history telling is great , but there is loads more to it , like people who witnessed to shoot outs what was there take on it , did Bill do something nice for them , what is there story ??

The book I'm going through now is so detailed that I could give most of the other people involved, their story, but the posts would be very boring and most readers don't care about the side characters, they just want to know about Wild Bill and what happened.
oh right , I meant other people involved in history , ok there may not be big names , but were all part of the past, but I have you ever thought that history could be a lie , I mean I was not there , how do I know that is what happened ?
well winchestergirl there are records for almost all of history but are you asking about Wild Bill? Because the author of the book I'm using interviewed his nieces and nephew and they gave him Wild Bills personal letters plus the author researched exhaustively for years with the many state historical societies, archives and original newspaper articles and court records.
sorry did not mean to sound critical , I am sure the author is a good researcher and writes very well , it is just a meant in history in general way back then we was not there to witness it , I think SOME of history maybe be embellished a bit that's all I was trying to say : )
oh no, you weren't being critical and I didn't take it that way, I was just explaining how well documented the information I'm using is. It's quite extraordinary.
But yes most all of history is embellished or slanted in some way you are so correct!
yes I gathered the man writes and looks into the history and background of Wild Bill is very good ! as he wrote anymore about the colourful characters of the wild west : )
