RE: Grace And Beauty In Bronze: The Work Of Sculptor Malgorzata Chodakowska

in #art7 years ago

haha! howdy sir Vincent! of course I remember, I was the one who explained alot about it. yes I knew you joined, I was asking if you DID anything over there yet. And like here, yes you have to chase people. Even myself, I still have to chase people here or they disappear, you have to force them to interact and stay connected.

I think most people think that people should naturally gravitate to their great posts but they don't, or don't stay connected unless you stay connected to them and appreciate them and what they're doing. In other words, you have to work your tail off and EARN it. But I know you already know that.
Maybe it won't be that way forever but so far it is for me. Maybe some people are so magnetic that they don't have to chase anyone and stalk them like I do. lol.

If I'm not making sense just ask me to explain better. Do you still think it isn't good advice? Because I'm very open minded and would love to learn a better way. lol. But the most successful people I've seen on here like the great papa-pepper and meesterboom..they are everywhere!

Regarding buying crypto, it's such a pain in the rear! There is no easy way now and that needs to be solved by the big exchanges. I have tried several but never made it through their verification system so I have been stuck with Coinbase at coinbase.com and they're a pain in the rear because it takes 13 days to get verified. But at least with them all you do is send a national ID card and your particulars like address and phone. Once you get set up you have to use a bank wire to get funds into your account or attach them to a bank account or use a debit card.

We set up a seperate small bank account and also have used a debit card. They are the biggest exchange in the U.S. but I don't know if they are the biggest in the world, probably not. There should be one based over there though, I would search for one.

Anyway, once you get the funds into the account and get verified then you purchase a crypto and send it to steemit's exchange which is Blocktrades.us and they convert it to steem for you and put it into your wallet.

Howdy jonboy. Sorry that I misunderstood you. Yes, I am still plodding along on Weku. I tried to engage and will keep trying, but sometimes people are just not interested.

Buy Steem with fiat money sounds like a complicated process. I will pass for the time being. :)

@meesterboom is correct that there will be no payouts for upvotes less than .02 cents. However, there is @dustsweeper - a service that goes round, rounding up values of the votes to 0.02 cents, so that the upvotes won't go to waste. You just need to send some SBD to @dustsweeper - any amount and @dustsweeper will do the rest. You will be informed when your account is low. You just need to 'top' it up. I hope I am clear on this matter.

My upvotes are worth next to nothing. I am already struggling to keep it within a decent percentage, but for new comers who comment, I will still give them a vote to show my appreciation. :-)

Howdy sir Vincent! oh that's ok about the misunderstand, I'm sure that was my fault for not phrasing it clear enough.
I do know about dustsweeper and joined them when I first got on here, they were a tremendous help at first.

But you sound like you need to go through the hassle of buying some crypto. lol.

Afterall, the entire crypto market will take off once the big institutional money comes in, which is just waiting on the sidelines for the right conditions and on legal things to be set up correctly. That will probably happen this year and you need to be holding a little in several cryptos.

At the current prices even 20 or $30 in some of them could make you thousands when they take off because they're so cheap right now. I was reading an article by one of the top crypto experts in the world and he said he wouldn't tell people which ones to invest in except for one piece of advice for everyone.

He said every person should invest a minimum of $100 in Bitcoin because he thinks it will go to 10K, 20K, 50K, maybe even 100K. Some experts think it will go to 300K! lol.

Oh well. We shall see. If I am still around by then. lol

We are everywhere!! ;0)

haha! see! you ARE everywhere and you don't sit on your laurals and expect people to just flock to your great blog. Even though it is THAT good and they should! lol.

I've just found that you have to practically stalk people to get them to remember you, there are too many distractions on steemit otherwise.. but maybe that's just my awkward amateurishness.

Nah, you are right. Unfortunately it is the money thing. Sometimes I have found even people who seem good and all are literally obsessed with money and the social aspect is secondary. Hence they remember nothing unless your wallet is massive!!

Is it a balance with you sir meesterboom? I mean, we have to try to make as much as possible but the social aspect is very important too.
hey let me ask you something on an unrelated topic. I saw that you generously upvoted my comment. I was told that when upvoting comments it needs to be a 2.5% upvote or it just goes to dust, is that true?

I've been trying to figure out when to start upvoting comments on my posts, I thought when I reached 2,000sp but is there a general rule about when to start doing that? What's your theory on that?

Yeah, apparently a comment or even a payout had to be worth at least two cents or it goes to dust, so anything less gets lost. When my vote was worth little though I still upvoted comments as a mark of appreciation. In the end I am like, fuck it, show the person I like it! :0)

Thank you sir meesterboom, I like your style! well said.
I'm going to start upvoting some comments because I so appreciate them.

I think it's the right thing to do and more importantly, from my earlier days in particular... It also for me noticed more :0D

that's very shrewd of you sir meesterboom, you must have learned that from Uncle Boom! lol.
