haha! howdy sir papacrusher! yes! a great post, love it! didn't know there were any posts in favor of firearms on steemit, great job. I carry a 17 also and how often do you see a Glock that doesn't feed everything smoothly? haha. How many weapons does this happen with that you get to convert to department use? just the Glocks?
oh and on a different subject, my wife is getting that jailer position she interviewed for. We were shocked but the administrator said the interviewers liked her so much that they weren't going to make her go through any more of the hiring process except a physical and that they were fast-tracking her in! lol.
We had no idea, because on the day of the interview she saw these big young guys interviewing so we figured that's the kind of people they wanted for the job, which makes sense.
However, she felt that God was leading her to do this and so far it looks like a total God situation because it's all not totally normal.

Thank you for the compliments! I've personally never had a Glock fail and I have ran every kind of junk ammo you can think of in just about every condition you can imagine. I am definitely a Glock fanboy. I have carried one almost everyday of my adult life...lol We can convert most any seized weapon we see fit, but we usually only go through the process for weapons we can use on duty. The exception to this would be weapons we could use as a training tool.
There are a few really great gun posts on Steemit, you just have to dig. There is a great #myhuntingfishing group that promote outdoor life. I wish I went to the range more so I could generate more posts related to firearms.

lol you could say that. You know his mysterious, confounding ways. I've tried several times over my career to get out and do something else, but he sees fit to keep me put and I see fit to obey! lol
ha! yes sir! well it's easy to see why. I mean you are so different than most people would ever expect an officer to be especially when they run into so many jerks and bullys.
And then to find one that actually cares about people? I wish it wasn't an anomaly but the ones we always saw in Akron, Ohio were nasty and mean! The one's we've seen down here have been nice.
