RE: Today I Bust 4 Myths About The Old West

yes but in Hollywoods defense, they did basically tell the Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid story fairly accurately, I KNOW you had to love that movie!

as far as the haunted place, yeah those crack me up. but how do you know it was haunted? give me a good laugh.

Actually, I don't believe in that stuff very much, but this place was different. My phone kept going off across the room, but when I went to pick it up, it was powered off. Footprints on the snow on the roof outside our window. We just thought it was a balcony, but nope, no balconies. Furniture moving around and voices in the room beside us, I heard whispering in my ear, but the next morning while we were checking out, there apparently was no one even in that room. Just an overall creepy feeling there!

hahaha! I'd loved to have been there. strictly low level demonic activity. then why did you guys stay there, that doesn't sound like a good time unless you were there to kick some stupid demon butt! lol

It was $19/night @janton 😎 And a snow storm had hit so they were advising not to travel. Seriously, Brian was more scared than me. There's all kinds of stories that people tell of hauntings. Some workers who were fixing the hotel up back in the day, quit, because they kept hearing toilets flushing, but the plumbing wasn't complete yet.

This was the place where Calamity Jane took revenge on the ones who killed Wild Bill Hickok and hung them in the saloon, which is still a part of the present day hotel. It's the real deal buddy 😎

I know what happened but I was talking about the spirits haunting the place which are simply low level demons and easy to deal with.

oh yes, I hear you loud and clear @janton !

it's about time somebody did!
