it would be great to have a comedy writer on my team but I don't have a team although my wife did take those photos of the glass truck and giant mountain lion for me yesterday!
I don't know. I think comedy can be overrated, and I think it's also saturated. Good comedy comes naturally out of situations, of how people react to them. There's timing and tapping into a universal experience or understanding of life, humanity and society. It's more than just shocking people with crudity.
I think your wife did an awesome job chasing down the huge mountain lion statue. :)
I think we can spend too much time worrying about how we might be comparing with others who are doing this or that and miss out on what we do well or different. There are a few storytellers here that I've ran across, but they have their own styles and preferred topic. I think as long as you stay you, which should be easy enough to do, you'll be okay.
I'm horrible at judging growth and when things might take off, but I do know the world needs good storytellers. :)
