Oh, there's been four or five different posts I've commented on so far. Been basically going through the list of the Top 40 in the engagement league looking at posts. It's slow going because the articles are longer and some of them a little meatier, but I've been finding things to comment on so, that's good. Might need to jump into some photography tags before we're through, but there's only so much I can say before I'm saying it over and over again. :)
I've not seen the first one. I guess it was on. I do like musicals, though. I'm not that big of an ABBA fan, though. So, maybe I'll catch up on them, but probably not. :)

Oh, it sounded like you had seen it. The movies, as far as I can tell, are based on Abba music. Mamma Mia was one of their bigger hits.

oh my gosh! from the 70's. yeah I thought you meant that they were still singing like some of these other old groups. haha! those outfits are classic 70s .
I have no idea if Abba is still touring. I would imagine that after the movie they had a major uptick in their sales again. They were number one in the world for quite a while.
Yeah, so they basically took Abba's music and used it to build the movie around. Not a bad idea. There was a movie that did the same thing with Beatles music, but I can't remember it's name and wouldn't really recommend it. There were parts that didn't make much sense to me, and there's different eras of Beatles music to choose from, and I'm thinking it was a period of their music that I'm not that particularly fond of.
yeah I know what you mean about the Beatles, they got really weird.
I looked up ABBA, they broke up in 1982 so that's 36 years ago and they are getting back together this year to produce 2 new songs, first ones in 35 years! lol. here's a photo of them:
Well, there you go. I thought one of them had passed away. Nice to hear they're all still around. I'm sure the success of the first movie helped.
The girls just got back from the sequel and it sounds like they had a real good time, so Abba might need to work on a few more songs.
I'm sure their experiences and priorities have changed over the last 36 years. Tough to be rockstars when you're in your 50s and 60s too.
It's a plus, though, if you live that long.
I thought they looked pretty good for their 60s.
glad the girls had a fun night, that movie is such a chick flick of some kind.
