same here, the property taxes are infuriating and a license to steal. no one owns their home, just try not paying a fortune in taxes and the next month you're in foreclosure!
what city you guys in that is growing so fast? sounds like Texas.
Broken Arrow, OK. We just happen to be in an area that is seeing a LOT of development. It will hopefully be REALLY nice when we go to sell, though!
it will be! I have a friend that I went to college with who is a farmer outside of town. Is it the whole area that is booming or just a certain suburb?
A little of both. The whole area has been growing somewhat, but this particular side of town was kind of the 'edge' of town as far as commercial stuff goes and in the last 6 years it's been expanding a lot.
ok then, great time to sell! then get a smaller cheaper place until you start selling books in Barnes and Noble and Amazon. No problem!

We just want to rent for a year or two. Our biggest goal is to save up and buy some land in the mountains (and talk our kids into moving there, too!). Patrick can build us a little house to live in. We don't need much!
