howdy sir Farmer! With the central banks and the top companies in the world getting involved and Wall Street getting set up to trade them it's something that you can at least get them to think about if you can give them examples of how blockchain technology is solving some major problems.
But, Steemit...no way unless they're huge social media fans. Steemit is much too difficult and complicated the way they have it set up and every change they make is making it even more difficult and un-user friendly.
