STRANGE PEOPLE

People are very strange.

I say that because people have the power to do whatever they want, and for some reason people just don't realize it. They believe it's the president, the congress, senators or a governors or mayors who have the power. But it's actually the people who have the power. It's the people who put their leaders and representatives into whatever position of power they may have.

If the people really wanted a better wage, they would have a better wage already. They can put more pressure on the government, and they can write letters to their employers and the owners of whatever company they're working for, and they can let these people know they mean business. But they're too afraid that if they speak up they will lose their jobs.

Well, as long as you're working for the kind of people who would fire their workers for wanting enough money to actually take care of their family, as long as you're working for the kind of people who don't respect you, then they can fire you regardless. Nowadays, most companies have something called at-will employment, where they can terminate you at any moment for any reason, or for no reason at all, without warning.

There will never be any real change until the people begin to stand up for themselves, and try to secure a better future for their children, and help improve these deplorable conditions that exist all over the country and throughout the world. But as long as the people are willing to put up with all of the insanity that exists, then there will never be any progress.

I believe people in general usually get exactly what they deserve. The people get the kind of leaders whom they elect, and who they willing to put up with. When the people begin to realize just how bad things really are, they will actually do something about the problem, and then there will be progress. But I don't believe the people are going to wake up anytime soon. In fact, they may be thrown into the gas chambers before they ever have a chance to wake up.
