IMPORTANCE OF TEAM BUILDING - WORKSHOP

Hello Steemians! Glad to be with you again. It's been five (5) days since I had my introductory post. This time, I am sharing to you a work-related experience. Everything I learned in our Team Building and Workshop.

As an employee in a certain Company for more than twenty(20) years, I had a privilege to travel and attend a Team Building Program. But before I go on the substance of this writing, I want to relay what I had experienced on my way to Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines, the venue where the Workshop was held.

Puerto Princesa City is also considered as my hometown, because this is the place where I grew up and finished my college. So when my Superior called me to be ready for travel in that place, WOW! I was overwhelmed. After so many years, after I was assigned to Dagupan City, at last I will have the chance to visit the place again, on the expense of the company, I'm working with. But moments after, my excitement melt down. I was thinking of the weariness I might experience for this travel. My flight was booked early in the morning so I have to transport by bus at midnight to NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport). Much more tiresome when I arrived at the Airport with this scene.

After checking-in, again the scene was realy unpleasant

There was no choice but to prolong my patience, as well as to other passengers. But there is one thing I appreciate, the utilities. I observed how they maintain the cleanliness of the airport, especially the toilets. Thanks to them.

Atlast, my departure time came, so I took the line for shuttle bus going to the plane.

The flight was delightful that I even took picture of the view below.

An hour passed and the plane landed safely in Puerto Princesa International Airport.

I and my co-employees were immediately proceed to a certain Hotel, where the venue of our workshop will be held. We had our yummy lunch rushly because our Workshop was about to begin.

THE TEAM BUILDING and WORKSHOP all about...

Most of the Companies designed Team Building Program to enhance social relations between employees/workers and the management. I decided to share some of the details I learned because I believe that this will be beneficial to some steemians, especially those who are engage in business selling and marketing.

1st: The management encouraged us to focus on sales and improve collection performance. That everybody can do this by exerting more effort and hardwork.

2nd: To have an open communication inorder for employees to work with cooperation on which they can enable to discuss deeper ideas to facilitate work fastly, and to accomplish work organizely.

3rd: The third thing is to work with efficiency, for us to meet the needs of our customers, entertain them until they're satisfied.

All those things mentioned aboved can improve good relationship between employers and employees that will result to a good quality work.

We must remember that if we're able to meet the purpose and goals of the company, it will mean success both for us employees and the company.

What I enjoyed most is the second day of team building activities.
The activities were focused on Workshop Attitude.
The speaker encouraged us to make a poem entitled "Just for Today" which will be dedicated to my co-employees and family.

I want to share what I have written.

but be friendly.

I will focus on their good performances,
not to their mistakes.

I will not abuse my position
if it can cause destruction
into the company I'm working with for a long time.

I will appreciate the achievement
of my son and daughter.

I will motivate them to keep up
for their good study habit.

I will patiently teach them
become a responsible person.

I will guide them to grow mature
and become a good person.

I will be more appreciative
for the love and care,
my husband is giving to me.

I will develop more respect
towards my husband as
head of the family.

Personally, eveything I learned from this workshop have left a good effect to me.
