What is hydroponics

The hydroponics is a procedure of growing the plants without soil, in this method the mineral nutrients in a water solvent is used and it is considered an effective method for the cultivation of the plants.In this method the water based solutions of the nutrients are used to supply the necessary components directly to the roots of the plants.

A form of the hydroponics is the deep water culture. In this method the plants are hanged in a solution of water which is full of the essential nutrients with the help of an air pump supplying oxygen to the roots of the plants.

It's very famous technique of the hydroponics and in this technique the solution of the nutrients flow over the roots of the plants.This method is important to supply the both the nutrients and the oxygen because these both are important for the growth of the plants.

The hydroponics techniques are benifical because these are very water efficient due to the recirculation and reuse of teg water.These techniques require less water which is about 90% as compared to the other traditional methods of teg agriculture.

This is also helpful to gain fast growth of the plants because the plants can get essential nutrients directly and it can result in the higher yield.These techniques can be benifical in that way that they occupy the small areas and it is preferred for the urban areas.

This is also effective in controlling the pests and the diseases because it is without soil. It decrease the chances of the diseases which is caused by the soil borne.
