Sound/Noise pollution is an unwanted or disturbing sound which can interfere with normal activities for humans and wildlife, such as sleeping, conversation, reproduction, communication, or disrupt or diminish one's quality of life.We are very used to the sounds we hear in everyday life. Loud music, the television, people talking on their phone, the traffic and even pets barking in the middle of the night. All of these have become a part of the urban culture and rarely disturb us. Noise that tends to disrupt the natural rhythm of life makes for one solid pollutant.

Many Kinds Of causes are the responsible for Noise Pollution. Such as; Industrialization,Poor Urban Planning,Social Events, Transportation,Construction Activities, Household Chores,Defense Machinery,Public Addresses & Alarm Systems, These are the main reason of noise pollution.They creates noise pollution in many ways.Construction works, blasting, stone crushing, bulldozing, welding, automobile repair activities, quarrying and so on are miscellaneous causes of noise pollution. People involved in these activities at times have to wear earplugs to prevent them from deafening exposure. The residents of areas boarding where these activities take place normally complain of unpleasant and intense noise.

Effects of sound pollution we faces many kinds of problem. Sound pollution effects on human life, Children life, Plant Life, Wild Life. Man Faces, Hearing problem,Health Issue, Sleeping Disorders,Cardiovascular Issues,Trouble Communicating, even mental disorder.Wildlife faces far more problems than humans because noise pollution since they are more dependent on sound.Pets react more aggressively in households where there is constant noise. They become inefficient at hunting, disturbing the balance of the eco-system.Species that depend on mating calls to reproduce are often unable to hear these calls due to excessive man made noise. As a result, they are unable to reproduce and cause declining populations. Others require sound waves to echo-locate and find their way when migrating. Disturbing their sound signals means they get lost easily and do not migrate when they should. To cope up with the increasing sound around them, animals are becoming louder, which may further add to the pollution levels.

On a personal level, everybody can help reducing the noise in their homes by lowering the volume of the radio, music system and the television.Don’t blast music on your computer or music system.As is controlling the sound levels in clubs, bars, parties and discos. Better urban planning can help in creating ‘No-Noise’ zones, where honking and industrial noise are not tolerated.Don’t blow your car’s horn ‘just like that’; make sure you have a valid reason.

Prevention of Sound Pollution is absolutely essential for our health and happiness. Sound pollution is very harmful for our health and environment .That's Why we need to control sound pollution.
