Cooking Recipes: Egg Casserole for Family Breakfasts

Hi guys. Tell me something, isn't sitting at the kitchen table surrounded by your family and telling stories over a hot home cooked meal one of the most memorable moments in one's lifetime?

Though as am sure you'd agree due to work and school, mornings are usually rather hard to gather everyone around, right? Let's change that with this egg casserole recipe that will have your family members looking forward to more family breakfasts.

Ingredients:

• Eight eggs
• 450 grams beef sausage roll
• 250 grams shredded cheese preferably Cheddar
• 650 grams low-cottage cheese
• 400 grams of frozen shredded hash browns thawed
• 75 grams chopped onions
• One small red bell pepper, diced
• 1 gram black pepper
• 3 grams Salt

Ready? Cool, now simply:

• Preheat the oven to a 190 degrees C
• Grease a 22-by-33 cm baking dish
• Brown the sausages in a large pan, drain, and set aside
• Place the butter in the baking and heat in the oven until it melts. Remove and coat the melted butter with hash browns and press to form a potato crust
• Beat eggs, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Add the onions, pepper, sausages, cottage cheese, and half of the grated cheddar cheese and mix thoroughly
• Pour the content over the potato crust and coat with remaining cheddar cheese
• Bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until the cheese melts and a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean
• Serve and dig in!

I also had eggs for breakfast but not as this awesome. I'm a huge fan of egg casserole dishes, and this seemed delish!
