Sri Lanka has several mountain ranges in the center part of the country. The most popular transportation towards upcountry among tourists is the train.
The Night mail reaches Idalgashinna railway station around 5 or 6 in the morning. You can see the first sunlight around Ohiya or Idalgashinna.
If you are lucky you can see this beautiful sunrise, which fills the sky with multiple colors. I say so because most of the time these areas are surrounded by the mist which disappears things even a few meters away from you.
So it must be a clear morning to witness this wonderful experience!
