OUR HEARTS ALSO BECAME WARM AFTER DISTRIBUTING WARM CLOTHES AMONG THE POOR PEOPLE

According to our geographical location and climate winter season starts in our country from mid November and lasts till mid February.That time the temperature becomes very low, cold wind blows everywhere,it is foggy almost until midday,sun is not too much hot.We who are from well-to-do family or live in town or are able to buy our warm clothes can suit with such kind of situation. But in the early morning or at night when sometimes I move here and there for my own necessity some scenes hurt me very deeply. For example rootless people or who live under poverty line or slum dwellers live a very painful life in winter season as they can't afford warm clothes.I render volunteer services to a Japanese humanitarian organization.They work for the welfare of poor.We some friends at first thought what can be done for the winter struggling people. Then according to our decision we proposed that Japanese organization to donate warm clothes among poor people. They accepted our proposal immediately and cordially.According to their words they brought lots of warm clothes from Japan and told us to select some places where people are facing the winter very badly.We did.Our first location for donating warm clothes were ethnic people in hill tracts. Bandarba,, it is a remote area - about 150 km far away from main city.It was 15 December 2017.We rented a truck for carrying warm clothes and another for our transportation.We started at 5 am when it was still dark.

IT WAS STILL DARK IN THE EARLY MORNING WHEN WE STARTED.

As we were proceeding the sun was trying to penetrate the fog.We left our home so early that we couldn't take our breakfast. But thought to take it after sunrising as even the tea stall or restaurant were closed at so early.At 8 am we found a restaurant with our desired foods Parata,Egg,Dal and tea.Getting down from the vehicle we finished our breakfast.And again started to our destination.

WE TOOK OUR BREAKFAST WHEN THE SUN WAS PEEPING THROUGH FOG

After riding 2 hours we entered in the lap of nature serpantile,zigzag road through deep forest with hills both side.The car was going and green hills, shiny lake all eye catching scene was providing us more strength and vigour to our services we were going to render.

EYECATCHING VIEW

After 5 hours of journey at a strech we reached our destination at 11.30 am where some local young boys and girls were waiting. They arranged everything for distributing the warm clothes. They called upon the needy people to have warm clothes for us.I myself became very grateful to be a part of such kind of programme.Poor children,teenagers, old people all came.After reaching there they started to think us some messangers sent directly by the God.They treated wih us very warmly and was eagerly waiting for getting warm clothes. Finishing some formalities we started distributing those.

DISTRIBUTION OF WARM CLOTHES TO THE POOR

A scene after distributing warm clothes made me so happy that I can hardly express it with my words, My teer almost to shed.A very poor old man was eagerly waiting for having a sweater or jacket.As far as we have been informed his only bread earner child died in a street accident few months ago.After getting the white jacket the old man was leaving the place with great satisfaction.He was very happy.

The cloth distribution was over.Seeing the smiling face of all poor people with the warm clothes we were in great self content.It was about 2 pm.All we became hungry.We ourselves thought to arrange our lunch. But the young volunteer of that locality informed us that they had arranged lunch for us and it is in their farm .We have to reach there walking about half a kilometre hilly way.We started...On the way of going there we found children climbing on the tree,playing with some tree branches.The marvellous and spell bounding scenes
ON THE WAY TO FARMHOUSE FOR TAKING LUNCH

After 10 minutes walking we reached to our open dining space.Wow!!! What a great surprise. There were vegetables garden everywhere. Inside of gardens there were some ponds abundant with fishes,lots of nests for pigeons and hens.The ethnic young girls and boys cooked all of their traditional dishes for us collecting from the farm.They also made many delicious country cakes and curd.The most interesting thing they offered us is to take the foods on banana leaves. We all enjoyed the lunch under open blue sky.All of our ethnic friends did a lot to entertain us.



WE WERE ENJOYING DELECIOUS AND TRADITIONAL FOODS

After finishing our lunch we moved here and there in the hilly areas and received local people's warm hearted love.When it was 5 pm we thought to leave. It was a quality day. We enjoyed every moment, they made me happy and we also tried to make them happy. Good bye Bandarban.May all the poor winter victim people stay warm......
