The Dreamed day of my Life..!

Everyone has different kinds of targets, life goals, career goals, achievements and also lots of dreams. Apart from running towards my career goals, as a girl I have had a dream for my wedding day. So, this is about it.

I was engaged last year and counted days for my wedding from that day. So, it happened a few months ago. Actually exactly 7 months ago. Though it’s been 7months, I just feel it was yesterday. Before it happened to me, I also thought that organizing a wedding is not a big thing. But now I know it is really really a big thing. I have to do many struggles when planning my wedding as everyone does. We need to think about dresses, flower arrangements, the reception hall and the most important thing is financial management. I will share with you how I prepared for my wedding through a separate article.

After managing all the things, after doing many struggles my day has come. It was the 3rd of May 2023. Since my fiancé was aboard, I had to manage many things on my own like meeting people discussing things, shopping and many more. However, with the support of my family members and my friends I was able to manage all the things and arrange my wedding just as the way I imagined it. I hope every girl has a plan of what they would like wear on the wedding day, how the flower arrangements should be and many many more.

Since me and my fiancé are Buddhist, our wedding happened according to the Buddhism traditional. I wear a Osariya and my husband wears the Nilame Aduma We did the traditional ceremony of Poruwa and got married according to our religion and would able to make our bond stronger Infront of our relations and they were become the witnesses of our bond.

My relations, and husband’s relations and my friends from my campus, school, office came. It was a really happy moment even reminding it for now also. Since my husband wears the Nilame Adum we had to go for a going way change. Another thing is there was another dream for my wedding and it is about wearing a wedding gown on my day.

We enjoyed a lot of our day. We had to do a couple dance according to our guesses request. I hope it gone well though we didn’t practice for it. We danced a few steps and others joined with us. I hope our guesses also enjoyed that day like us. Though it was a full of happiness day in my life there was a sorrow in other hand. I think it is the same for every girl. We have to leave our parent’s home one day and will have to move and build our own family. In here I’m not mentioning that we need to forget them, I mean to we need get responsibilities, make our own family and move with the new family by caring and sharing our parents also.
