My Wedding Pre-shoot

Nowadays most of the people would like to do a pre-shoot video or photo shoot before their wedding. They choose different kinds of beautiful locations and different kinds of themes for their shoot. Some of them selected nature friendly environments, city views, indoor locations and so on. And also different kinds of costumes as well. So, we thought why do we not plan a pre-shoot. So, this is about.

We planned to do a photoshoot instead of doing a video and we created our video by using the taken photographs. The first thing we have done is, find a good photographer who has an affordable package. With the inflation everything became very expensive and therefore we wanted to manage our money very carefully.

So, I got to know a photographer from my friend, and we selected him. He did an amazing job. His photography page name is Autumn Red. We discussed with him about our ideas and about our outfits. Since he is friendly person we could able to plan our shoot easily. Next, we selected Aachi’s beauty studio as my makeup artist. She also done good job.

The first thing we planned is selecting the location. I love the beach very much and therefore I wanted to do a shoot on the beach and a park and also wanted to do night shoot with sparklers. We selected Mount Lavinia Beach for our beach shoot and selected a blue colour clothes for the shoot. Since we are having a night time shoot, we do this in the early morning. When we went there many photographers came with their couples. However, we were able to do an amazing shoot as we imagine.

The next one is the night time shoot. We selected Chatham Street for this. We selected white colour clothes for this because we thought it would fit for a night time with sparkles. We took nice pictures in this place and we could able to do our shoot as planned.

Our next location is a park. We selected Viharamahdevi park for this. We selected pink color clothes for this and we thought it would fit for the location. We have taken many photos in this location also.

I thought taking photos and posing for photos is a very easy thing. But now I realized it is not like we thought. We need to stay few minutes in a same position and do the things again and again. Actually, it is also a hard work. However, after seeing all the photos, I’m very happy about the struggles we had. They are so nice. Finally, we made a video from those photos and presented it on our wedding day and also on our homecoming day.
