Blue Tones & Lines | Photography | [OC]
Yesterday was a public holiday.
We spent it in the A/C watching movies all day long. In the evening, feeling groggy from media overload, I decided to go for a quick walk in the cool of the afternoon.
The Steemit Photo Challenge has been inspiring me to get outside and take more photographs, with whatever I have handy. Usually it's just the iphone, which is a decent little camera all things considered.
I snapped these two during my walk. The blue overtones evoke that cool afternoon feeling.

I love studies like this. I've done so many paid photo gigs lately that I haven't taken the time to do any projects like this for myself. They're the ones that make you look at the world differently.
Also, I think that's a blue Aloe Vera plant. :)
I think you're right that it's in the aloe family but not an aloe vera, they're meatier with smaller spikes.. very familiar with those guys!

Hmm, the second photo looks like it's in the cactus family....or an aloe plant that's out of control. I'm sticking with the former. LOL I've also been inspired to keep my camera handy because you just never know when that perfect shot is staring back at you.
It might be a type of aloe, I don't think it's a cactus. I could ask around here, somebody would know.
Nice pics, my favorite one must be of the tennis court, cleaner and calmer. I do prefer plats though. Good post!
I love the blue tones in the first photo. Is it natural or did you adjust them?
The court is blue and I enhanced it with brightness contrast etc.
I was already snapping pics all the time and agree the photo challenge has also make me snap more.
