The Horse

The horse is one of the top ten modern species of mammals of the genus Equus. This animal is one of the pets that are important historically and economically, and has played an important role in transporting people and goods for thousands of years.

Horses can be ridden by humans using saddles and can also be used to draw something, such as a wheeled vehicle, or plow. In some areas, the horse was also used as a food source. Although horse ranch is thought to have started as early as 4500 BC, evidence of the use of horses for the purpose of the new found place since 2000 BC.

Horses have played an extensive role in human culture. The animal was first utilized as animal mounts by nomad tribes (nomads) in the grasslands and deserts of Central Asia and the North. The next role is as a horse towing animals.
