Lighthouse Love

The long days and lonesome nights are always filled with sounds of the ocean.
Sleeping in the day with the seagulls flying by the windows of my room.
All through the night I can hear the waves landing on the shore.
There's never a moment that I don't think of you here.

I recall a time when we would fish together.
The trout would swim through each wave.
We'd cast out our nets and steal the fish.
The taste of the seas fish every night.

I often think of our days together.
Like wind through time it goes.
Your feet walked on the beach.
My hands held yours nightly.

Our lighthouse still remains.
The love we shared lays.
Night is never absent.
Time will hold us.
