The Giant Funnel

I saw these growing out in the woods and wanted to share them. I'm not totally convinced they are Leucopaxillus giganteus but they share pretty much every characteristic of that mushroom. This one is around 7 inches in diameter. It's white with a slightly brown color on top. As you can see they have gills on the underside and a flacky textured stem. I didn't pick any to eat. It could be your last meal if you eat something that you don't know and I didn't want that. I'll put a link below if you want to learn more.

I put the link in so people can investigate further for themselves. It's at least want to give people a way to see what I was looking at when I look something up. By no means am I an expert I use what I have at my fingertips. I share the picture and do my best to identify it if I don't know what it is. Maybe others have seen the same mushroom? Maybe they can help me/us out with it if I'm wrong.
