My favourite champion who doesn't exist is 'Ted Lasso', from the TV series 'Ted Lasso'.

Ted Lasso was played by Jason Sudeikis, an American college football coach who was signed to be a football coach in London. He was hired to coach a fictional football club called AFC Richmond. If you are familiar with American football and European football (soccer), you will say that signing Ted Lasso was a big mistake because the two games are different. Yes, but it wasn't a fluke hiring Ted Lasso, in fact, the new owner of AFC Richmond, Rebecca Welton signed him intentionally. The intention? To run the club to the ground so to speak because she was angry her ex husband (former owner of AFC Richmond) cheated on her. She hired Ted Lasso to fail and spite her ex husband.

Yes, Ted Lasso did fail. He failed to keep AFC Richmond in the premier league as they were relegated and also they badly lost the final of the FA cup to Manchester City.
From the start, Ted Lasso was doomed to fail, but what endeared me and the other characters of the series to him including the new owner Rebecca Welton was his positive attitude.
Although Ted Lasso was inexperienced, he was always optimistic and smart. He is a coach who cares about everyone, from his players to the owner.

His optimistic spirit and caring heart earned him the respect from fellow coaches, players, jounalist, fans, AFC Richmond's owner Rebecca Welton, even forming a close relationshipwith her. As a result, he was not fired when his team got relegated to the championship and the next season, they were promoted to the premier league.

Ted Lasso taught me an important lesson, which is to always be positive even though things are not in your favour, and that is why he is my favourite champ.... who doesn't exist.
