The diary game.Diary of 07-02-2024.A day out in the field doing social work

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

As usual, I started my day by performing ablution and then going to offer the morning prayers in a nearby Mosque. After finishing the prayers, I spent some time in a special room constructed in the mosque complex beneath which fire is burnt so as to keep the inner atmosphere warm and people sit there to keep themselves warm when it is cold outside. This room is called Hamam abd is constructed in such a way that the maximum heat flow occurs towards the open space of the room and this is done by paying the floor of the room using carved stones brought from the quarries.
After I had enough warmth,I came back to home and started doing some physical exercise and consequently made sure I burnt some excess calories and also remain fit and agile throughout the day. I finished my morning chores by having my breakfast with my parents in the dining room and then getting ready for office.

Today again, I had to visit the same village for the verification of various applicants who had applied for PMAY housing scheme assistance. In this regard we need to meticulously verify the cases and also need to keep in mind the various criteria required to be eligible for the government grant under the scheme.

The area I have been deputed to is a faroff one where most of the population lives below the poverty line, and really are in dire need of such assistances to alleviate poverty.While verifying the cases, we always give priority to the poorest of the poor and consequently I had to visit the peripheral areas of the village on foot, which left me very exhausted but still as a part of my duty I didn’t give up and continued with my work till 4 PM. As I have other assignments in the pipeline and I really want to finish this one in time so that no work remains pending from my end.

Later after reaching home, I got fresh and had some tea which my mother had already prepared for me as she had anticipated my arrival. Later I resumed my reading till I had my dinner at 9:30 PM. I got busy scrolling the reels up and down on Instagram for a while and then retired to sleep at around 11:45 PM.
