STEEMIT IN NIGERIA (S.I.N)
This is my support post for the Steemit in Nigeria Conference. I would like to talk about the benefits of steemit to me personally.
Steemit has been a very beneficial platform to me. It gives me a chance to discuss various topics of interest and share it with the world and also make money legally for my hardworking.
I think steemit is something that could be helpful to my fellow Nigerians. The current employment opportunities for graduates is quite low, not to even mention jobs for undergraduates.
Many Nigerians currently are having money issues due to the economic situation of the country. Most of these Nigerians have access to phones and laptops which gives them easy access to the steemit website.
Steemit has given me access to so many opportunities because I am able to make an income while still in school. Yes, it is a bit hard to post stuff during the semester, which is the main reason for my sporadic updates, but the rewards at the end of the day are worth it.
The period where the graduates from Nigerian universities are searching for jobs or undergraduates have free time or breaks could be used for posting on steemit, upvoting people, commenting or chatting on steem chat (though this one is a bit hard to do on phones).
Steemit has been of benefit to me and my family and I think it can be of benefit to my fellow Nigerians. It will help prevent cases of Nigerians doing extreme things in order to make money or hurting other people to get money fast and mostly illegally. This helps but in a perfectly legal way. It might not be fast but at least you won't get in trouble for posting on steemit and making money off it.
