Four Pillars Improv Workshop

Thank you to everyone who attended the Four Pillars Improv Workshop at the Phoenix Improv Festival.

Full class. Newbies and veterans of all ages. I met some local improvisers from Phoenix as well as Sadona, Chicago transplants, and California.

We explored the four states that make us all human. We moved, breathed, and started scenes simply being in touch with Happy, Sad, Angry, and Afraid. We built scenes and discovered characters simply from the seeds of allowing ourselves to feel sometging together. Can we walk around in real life freely intouch and sharing our emotions? Maybe not. But in theater and in improv we come together to witness human stories that reflect on the human condition. We need no lessons so much as the reflection of the human experience.
