Continuing Dangers from Old Wars

• Another World War 2 bomb was discovered, this time in Frankfurt, Germany. It had to be carefully detonated by bomb disposal experts.

• Leftover landmines littered all over Europe, Asia, and Africa continue to maim and kill people generations removed from the conflicts for which they were deployed.

• Depleted uranium, lead, and other toxic materials contaminate thousands of square miles where wars have been waged in the past and present.

• Chemical warfare remnants and long-term effects from substances like Agent Orangeare often hard to quantify, but the damage is real.

All of this was done by patriotic soldiers under various flags and for various causes. All of it is evil. All of this was funded by taxation. Our generation, our parents, our grandparents, and more have all been extorted to fuel this murder machine.

Why do people still think anarchists are the menace to society when these government-created hazards are still killing and maiming innocents long after the people who made them died? Can we stop the cycle? Not by voting. Not by petitions. Not by violent revolution, either. Maybe it's time for sedition, subversion, sabotage, non-compliance, and civil disobedience.
