Car Repair Progress!
I posted some frustration about the disassembly process yesterday. As I suspected, it's just a splined shaft from the transmission into the clutch assembly. So why wouldn't they pull apart? At any rate, they're apart now!
My next step will be buying parts and taking apart the other car for a massive parts swap. But now at least I have something resembling an idea what I am doing. Allegedly.
So now I need to repeat the process on my old white Neon, plug this transmission into that car's engine, and drop the whole works back into the blue car for reassembly. Yay?
Your mechanic skills shall go down in the Steemit annals of mechanical legend!
Or to speak it in SPAM: Nice post!
what car? and year?
1995 Dodge Neon.
Very happy to see that you're sticking with this project.
My husband is a mechanic! Are you a mechanic? And is your first name Jacob? Because my husband's name is Jacob also lol! :)
I am not a mechanic, and I have no idea what I am doing. But my first name is Jacob, so I have that going for me.
Haha!! Well, cool!
Its very important for cars.
What is?
Spamming comments is very important to cars apparently, lol.
