Day 892 (Daily Post)
Day 892. It was nice that it was finally sunny all day yesterday but then late in the evening a big thunderstorm rolled into the area which of course got the dogs worked up and kept me from being able to fall asleep as early as I was hoping to. Eventually even having one hyperventilating in each ear could not keep me awake and I fell into a bit of a fitful sleep from sheer exhaustion.
So this morning I am rather groggy and staring a bit sullenly at the cloudy sky while listening to some music and hoping that I will at least get enough sun today to dry everything up so that I can get the 'yard' mowed before more thunderstorms roll in later today.
On a different note that big battery that I treated three weeks ago with epsom salt is definitely holding it's charge better and the voltage is not dropping below a usable level at night when I use it to power my cellular signal booster.
With all the cloud cover lately I have definitely needed the signal booster to maintain even a moderate data connection so that is nice but it sure can use up a good bit of electricity over an extended period of operation so I am glad that battery is gradually getting revived by the epsom salt. I am still ten days away from it being a full month since I treated it and like I have said before from everything I have read it can take one to two months for the battery to become fully desulfated so seeing such an improvement only three weeks in makes me rather hopeful that I will eventually be able to rely on that battery again.
Hopefully today I can get out and pick some of the blackberries that are getting ripe but for now I sort of just want to fall back asleep and make up for my lack of deep sleep last night. I will see how I feel about it all after I drink more espresso and shake off this lingering weariness.
