Thursday Colorchallenge - Green
A dish of green lettuce with Chinese oyster sauce over it. Next to this dish is Fried Salmon Skin. Yummy yummy, I love both these dishes.
The pot on the right of this photo is the Lucky Bamboo that the Chinese will buy, give away as gifts and display to bring Good Luck and Good Fortune to their family. This is a very popular and important plant for the Chinese as most believe in feng shui. It represents water, wood and earth elements and when these are placed in the right pot, the other 2 elements of fire and water will make it a complete elements of 5.
This plant is strong and can survive so one do not need to worry on how much light to give it as compared to other plants. It is supposed to attract good Chi or energy and is symbolic for a strong, long life filled with prosperity. Businesses also believed that having this Lucky Bamboo inside the office will make the business prosper and keep growing bigger and expanding in wealth (profits).
Not sure what's the name of this flower. Maybe someone who has knowledge on flowers and plants can enlighten me.
A scenery of rolling green vegetations on the mountain side.
How green are these apples!! Eat more apples to be healthy. Just like what we learn in school. An apple a day , keeps the doctor away.
Stay healthy, rest well and have a great weekend
