Well, this is something that has been done well after the younger angry and so energetic me (put the Energizer Bunny to shame) passed away.

Yes, this is a story in itself.

Although this photo isn't a final product, it is the closest photo I could find of the artwork impregnated into my physical being. Still needs a few touch ups and will get them done as a result of this post, need to finish what I started.

The story is a long one, but how it came to be is less important, what is important is the following:

The two angels are the two children my Mrs and I lost.
Mother Mary, with her head down, as she was when her child passed away.

The lilies are a symbol of our humility and devotion as believers who have sinned.

The church arches are a symbol of St Peters Church, the one and only Church that St Peter as per the orders given to him by the good man JC, the one and only church started by St Peter and that we all (should) be a living part of.

The gates of heaven are self explanatory.

Right now, there is are the letters "IN" to the left of the gates, and "RI" to the right of the gates.

As the good man JC is our saviour. His sacrifice is what gave us the opportunity to get to the path of salvation.

No, I am no 'Bible Basher', but I am a believer and although I don't believe in deforming ones body, I do not believe that art is a deformation. Art is something that is a gift, a talent, something that is beautiful and in this case very personal.

If you read between the lines, you will read a story out of the description of why the artist did what he did and he put this all together after talking with me numerous times. Not sure if this was his 4th or 5th idea that he put together before than what he said "I think I have what you want".

He did show me the others and maybe in a different era of my lifes journey I would have chosen one of his other concepts, but this was the one, it included EVERYTHING that I mentioned as being important to me as an individual.

God, Family, Love & Devotion.

& I know our two little angels are up there causing true mayhem and our Holy Mother Mary is looking after them. (God help her).

I seriously think that this is the very first time I have ever put this online anywhere, ever. Not something I go showing around because it is very personal. However, lets get this contest rolling and if I can go out on a limb and put a photo of one of my tatts, then so can you.
