Just a short rundown on where I'm at with things.steemCreated with Sketch.

Trying to balance things out here, with Steemit being an obvious addiction, a feeling of hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel and in a lot of ways, in fact mostly the place that replaces all the other social networks where in the past I used to read about other peoples lives and post stuff of my own etc etc etc.

However, here I am together with the support of my Mrs @sylviamiller working on two projects.

One which we have already openly announced and presented @classifieds , which is a project to help support users who utilize this social network as are many others using other social networks out there.

The other is a lot more than just "support" for others, it involves a lot of emotions and heart, so we are not rushing into it.

Through conversations, some individuals are suggesting that we should get a "bot".
I agree, that would make a lot of things easier (from what I have seen), but there are two realities:

  1. -A bot for the project at hand kind of takes the 'human aspect' out of it, so maybe as a support project to the main project, where it follows up on the main work and topics, yeah sure, a bot would be fantastic. But not as the "main" character who does all the work, that in this case just would defeat the entire purpose of the project.

2.- I'm no programmer so in order to get a bot done up, I would need support from people who know how to get one programmed up and set up and ensure that they have the time and patience to put up with a person like me who shall need a bit of guidance and training as far as using the bot software/program goes. I mean, that is just me being realistic with myself.

So, the trick now, is to be able to ensure that we can manage our time schedules and devote a good portion of our lives to these two projects, use Steemit as our one and only real time social network, ensure the kids (family) don't become victims of a possible "addiction" to all this and in the long run, who knows, maybe make a few bob here and there in the process.

Just filling in the gaps..... for all the people who are following me and who are wondering "What is going here?".

I'm not making any excuses here, I am just telling it as it is.

Not a thing is being ignored, just ensuring that we do things right, the first time round and not have to go back and fix things up etc etc etc.

As far as my investment of money, I have been told by more than one person to date, that I should hang back on that. However that kind of kills me, so I am not sure what to do right now.
I would like to invest, but then again if people without any agenda are telling me to keep monitoring the market, then I guess they know what they are talking about.

Although I shall then in that case need to invest a little, enough to ensure that once both the projects get started off and kicking that they are not affected or slowed down by anything that could have been foreseen/planned and taken care of ahead of time. But the major investment shall be done when it seems to be the right moment to invest a larger sum.

Any way, enough for one day, thanks to everyone who reads this.

Steem on.

Yours gratefully

Jack

Yes - our Senior Editor @sirknight remembers when people were calling Bitcoin a ponzi scheme and a con - back when the price was under $500. We find that people naturally fear what the don't understand. The question remains - do you understand?

Time management that the catchword for me. What to do first, which posts to prioritise, where to fit in all the rest of my interests. I find that Steemit has become an addiction, so in many ways I'm in the same boat as you.
