Caution ! Crooked pictures ahead.... ha ha..... Yesterday the weather was nice, so on my way back home from doing a few errands, I decided to ride through the car wash.
This will be mostly photos and not too many words. ... ok .... maybe WAY too many photos, but .... here ya go !
I chose the bay that has the brushes this time. A woman's voice gave instructions "Please enter the wash bay" Of course I go very slow at first so the low water jets right inside the door can rinse off the bottom of the car.... inch... inch... inch...:)
As soon as I was in the correct distance, the lights turn red so I would know to stop.
....and so it begins.
It was neat that once the brushes went past the rear view mirror, they stopped and then came backwards a bit to get the front of the mirror before carrying on to the back of the car.
Sometimes the water on the window made looking forward appear to be like some of the digitally altered photos I have seen around. The ones that make regular photos, look like a piece of art.
The way the water looked on this photo, made the illusion that there was a flood in front of the car.
I kind of enjoy the different water patterns that are made on the windshield through the different processes.
Time to dry !
....and back to where we began. "Please exit the wash bay"

There are not too many hours left in my weekend. My oh my how fast my weekends seem to go. I want more time !! :)

I saw this plaque in Hobby Lobby the other day. I know, it sounds a bit arrogant, but it did make me laugh. I talk to myself all the time, but I don't always take my best advice. I do however, agree with everything I say.
Thats something i need to do and yes my type of car washing as well
I don't have it as a set part of my schedule, although I should have.
Wasn't sure how much happy weather days we will have going forward. It just seemed like the thing to do.
Thats what I thought when I saw your post, tomorrow is meant to be a little warmer when I get home from work I am if I remember going to do mine
I need to run mine through the car wash before it is closed and the wait time becomes 5 months. It's a tricky balance, last year I missed the timing of the car wash, but with the temperatures dropping, I already had to tug my door open once. Oh well at least it did get at least one wash just before tire change over time, and I may get lucky and fit another one in.
They never close here, although I'm sure they don't get a lot of business after it gets real frosty.
Except maybe the first decent day after snow melts when everyone is trying to get the road salt back off. :)
I am usually too cheap. I think I had a car wash withing the past 3 years though. I let mother nature wash it for me lol.
ha ha .... Sometimes Mother Nature doesn't get the sides too good.
I use to wash my cars by hand at home. Somehow, I never get the urge to do that now. :)

Fun photos! Who would have thought that you could find such artistic shots in a car wash. I had my grandson take mine to the car wash and fill it with gas so that it is ready to sit in the garage this winter. I miss driving.

Oh gosh ! I bet you DO miss it. It offers a certain range of freedom to be able to drive for sure, but we all adapt to "come what may"..... don't we? I'm glad you have good family to help out. :)
