I'm Back !..... AND.... The Weekend Is Almost Over Again
Didn't this just happen a couple of days ago ?? Ending weekends..... ~bleck~ I can't like it ! .... but.....
I spent the weekend with my Sis-in-Law. She lives a little more than an hours drive away, so I went to her house for a girls weekend. It was wild... .eh hem....(not really), but it WAS fun. Yesterday we went to a BBQ festival like I said we were going to do. It was a beautiful day, mostly sunny with the temps in the low 70s, a perfect day to be walking around outside.
When we got back to her house and decided we weren't going back out, about 4:30, we got into are jammies and loungers, ate some BBQ sandwiches we brought back with us, caught up on all things current and turned on the TV, watched the movie Bounty Hunter from 2010 (Jennifer Aniston / Gerard Butler).... and then changed to the Hallmark channel and watched Christmas movies while having assorted snacks and a little sangria....for the rest of the evening.
Today we got up, decided to hang out at the house and talk some more, talk, talk, talk and ......talk !! I finally got dressed and headed home around 4:30. LOL... .it was Great.
We did a lot of walking on Saturday at the festival. I have never seen a blow-up soft serve vender before. Neat... huh?
There were games, like at the fair.
And rides for the kiddies...
How could it be a Fall BBQ Festival without a few carved piggy pumpkins???
Oodles of crafts of every kind.

Thats such a cool festival looks like a lot of fun those carved pumpkins are pretty cool
but that said chilling around the house in Pyjamas can be such fun as well

It WAS wonderful weather for a festival and I too loved the carved pumpkins.
Tammy and I don't see each other frequently, so there is always a lot of catching up to do.
It is pretty neat when you can lounge around all day and still call it fun.
Fun can come in so many ways :)
