It's to bad every model used for fact has been completely wrong. Of course man made factors contribute but putting a carbon tax on people does not do anything to help

Environment is a public commodity, without any regulation for use. I guess if it is charged to the accountable with large penalty like Euro emissions (still needs more stringent compliance) than it serves the purpose. But the problem is tracking of violations, since most of us are responsible, may be we need social norm for this.
