Thinking Kelly is very happy with his boyfriend, Maggie thinks Kelly will not get angry at her for getting in relationship with Gary. Besides, Kelly should've moved on already and that she will understand Maggie's decision.

Maggie talked to Kelly, and admitted her relationship with Gary. Kelly was shocked and got mad at Maggie. Their friendship was badly affected, and came to a point they unfriend each other in social media. Maggie was painted as the villain for betraying Kelly, but the latter was viewed as a bad friend and a boyfriend because she haven't moved on yet despite in a new relationship. The two has avoided each other, while Maggie pursued his relationship with Gary.

Despite her mother's intervention, Sharon found a new love with Marcus. She came to such decision for herself because she has listened to her mom for many years that her mother disregarded her own happiness.
