Trapped: 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge

Good day Steemians and freewriters around the world!

The 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge continues one year of existence on Steemit! Here is my entry for Day 366 which the prompt is trapped.

In this generation
when technology advances too fast.
We were caught up spending so much time on it.
We forgot some important things in life.
The relationships that are disregarded
because of amount of time used for gadgets.
Even families eating together has each
member with their phones.
It's a sad disadvantage of technology
towards everyone.
It seems people are trapped in these
advancement of technology.
The more advanced, the more time consumed.
Technology has its advantages.
However, it should be used at the right time.
Do not use it to the full.
The sad thing is commercialism takes a lot of time and money to offer new things, and lure users.
Nevertheless, it is up to us if we are going to avail ourselves of such services, and use it which disregards more important things.
It is also up to us if we control our usage of the technology.
