Quarantine Life: Day 55, 8th Stay At Home Weekend

It was Sunday, and I don't feel fine when I woke up. I have headaches, and my anxiety level is kinda high. I also had irritable stomach. But I have to prepare for our meetings in sign language. We are actually close to the second month of quarantine, and actually 8th weekend. Imagine being inside the house for a long time. We actually never expected this kind of life. But we are able to bear with it.

Actually, even after the lockdown, we can't spend our lives outdoor like we used to. Most countries will have the "new normal" imposed. Wear your masks on outdoors, observe physical distancing, and more. So this isn't really something enjoyable even the lockdown ended.

Coronavirus cases

So as expected, the number of positive cases has crossed above 4 million, now at 4.02 million. Deaths is now at 279k, and there are 1.38 million reported as recovery. There's a slow down of a number of new cases in United States but still tens of thousands, with a total of more than 1.343 million. The total of fatalities is above 79k, and 201k recoveries.

Here in the Philippines, the numbers is already at 10,794, and fatalities with 719. There's a total of 1,924 recovered cases. The number is still the same here in Pangasinan with total of 39, and only 3 are still confined. There are a total of 2,083 under quarantine, and 424 with incomplete quarantine.

Pretty Silent Here

Sundays used to be pretty silent because it is still practiced that some establishments allowed to open, are closed during the day. To be honest, we night get used to this lockdown life, but we should also be aware of our mental health. Especially this kind of weather when it is very hot, the next day, it is cloudy and it might rain. Imagine the transition of the weather is abrupt. But I hope we will all get through this lockdown, and live normally.
