Midyear Look Back (March to April)
Covid19 has started to break out, and wad declared pandemic. The national government has decided to undergo quarantine, and we are unaware how it would be like. We're thinking that we can go out but with precautions. However, lockdown was eventually imposed.
March
I usually go to the beach in the morning so I don't usually see the sunset there. This was two weeks before the lockdown.
While enjoying afternoon walk in the garden of my sister. It will take more than a month before I can give a visit again.
This is the last time I weny out with them through deaf field service. I miss them already, as in seeing them personally.
A week before the lockdown, I am still regular with my jogging schedule.
I made this delicious salad with tapioca starch, cheese, condensed milk, all purpose cream, and corn kernel.
After supporting deaf field service, we went to the Baywalk with my girlfriend, and her friends. This was the last time I witnessed sunset.
That daw when we stopped by the lagoon area in Narciso Ramos Sports Complex after a long walk.
The last time, I went out jogging, and it is the first day quarantine was imposed. Going out is still allowed at that time.
The same day I jogged in the Baywalk. I never thought this would be the last time I will walk in this park before the lockdown.
The day before the quarantine. That was the last time we attended our sign language meetings physically. Now, the meetings are held through videoconferencing. As noticed, there are only few traveling at that time.
The last time we visited Bugallon. That's my deaf friend enjoying his time with the father of our friend.
This was also the last time I went to the market. Paranoid about taking the ride through tricycle, I decided to walk.
The last time I went to the supermarket. It took me 2 hours to get to my turn.
The lockdown has started, and I tried to go out to the mobile market as announced by the local government.
Trying to be creative wity rhe kinds of foods I prepare with limited ingredients. I prepared macaroni with sardines spaghetti sauce.
So this is how the mobile market looks like on the first day. Only few are selling.
April
Getting bored inside the house so I went outside, and I saw these mushrooms growing. Took a snapshot of it.
My friend has started to sell vegetables so I ordered from her, and her husband delivers them.
I finally have access to different kinds of foods, and my brother bought saba banana, which I sweetened and added some milk.
My friend is selling fries, and have it delivered. Thus, I fried them, but I forgot we don't have ketchup.
I prepared fried rice for breakfast. It has some eggs, potatoes, hotdogs, etc. I also prepared mangoes and chocolate drink. It's a great breakfast, actually.
I went to my brother's house for their wedding anniversary. I walked on my way there, and the roads are empty.
The first three pictures are what they prepared on my brother and sister-in-law's anniversary.
That morning, I prepared egg and cheese sandwich with chocolate drink again.
