Good afternoon lovely Steemians and freewriters around the world! It's Tuesday and I am supposed to leave yet I decided to create my #freewrite entry first, and I did it using my phone. The 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge was organized by @mariannewest, which is on its Day 123. The prompt for today is fumigate.
You never treated me well.
You never loved me back.
But here I am still giving out the best of me.
Don't you feel the same way too?
I feel like I was stuck in a room.
You fumigated it until I inhaled the chemicals.
Then I eventually suffocate and give my last breath.
Yet, here I am too understanding towards you.
Love is not a one-way road.
There should be give and take
Yet you took me for granted.
Took advantage of me.
You manipulated me.
Until I gave everything.
Then you just left me hanging.
You killed the part of me.
Then you are coming back?
For what?
Sorry, but it is time to go on our separate ways.
I don't need you anymore.
I am happy now.
This was written according to the perspective of a person stuck in unrequited love, yet already happy for being freed from that kind of love after realization.

I really liked this. it;s hard to break away from a bad relationship, especially one you cared about, but it's always for the best. I just love what you did with this, it's very creative. Congrats!
