The workers are prone to being poor paid and mostly extending hours with no pay. This is the most grueling moment of the employees/crew/laborers who, just like anyone, needs a job, pay their bills, pay their rent, and others. They are mostly coming from provinces thinking that working in an urban place would ease up their suffering and help the family. Such a wishingful thinking. Abuses are rampant among the class C, D, E or even way down! Filipino workers who by nature are industrious especially working abroad. They, like themselves who work with their master of Filipino-Chinese, Filipino-Indian, Filipino-European descent are mostly among the candidates who work with tedious hours (I hope not all maids/boys or even the drivers are into this category).




A long trip for work is a daunting task no matter how early you rise up. You'll have to catch for an SUV, FX, LRT, MRT or even PNR. Because they are also busy attending to the scheduled trip for the day. Once, they left the terminal you are on your own. You felt like you are Bolt doing the 100-meter dash to get a ride to your workplace! It's a whooshing trip!



Workers, like professionals are getting paid complete with their SSS, taxes, overtime and everything, they too contribute to the economy of this nation, though they are underpaid and industrious it's not enough to be just like that. Workers have needs, they have family like everyone else. They too have their dreams, emotions and privileges that are supposed to be given to them, but the truth of the matter is they are less to anything they need. They are prone to abuses, especially among women who are being mistreated and raped by their master or "amo"! Though, maids and other workers alike are scared to report the incident. They are threatened to be terminated or make up stories just to justify it. Authorities could not access the situation if there is no complaint between the employee and the employer.



As I among the workers who always travel by bus or SUV have the same common goal among them, is that, to work, to live a normal life, be happy with the present condition, however, it's too far fetch as of the moment, as this is not really, the workers of this nation wanted it to be! I guess, to have a job, a real job who has benefits is a blessing, to win the lottery is as astounding and resounding grace! Lol! That is, if you are betting on with lotto, if not, it's just a dream like the most workers wants them to happen to their lives!
