My Busy Keyboard
Pressing onto the blackness of keystrokes , firm, busy mind,
except, waiting for the muse to arrive, persisting,
the sound, smooth plastic rectangular shape sits silently on the idle table,
with strokes of demented alphanumerics and function keys, I half-smile.
As the cursor starts to move to the right, I write,
it follows the letters, the words, the sentences, and the thought,
a paragraph after paragraph had written, the theory,
the message, the propaganda, the revolution!
The reader, the critic, the languishing remarks,
the people, the masses, the media, Facebook,
Instagram, Steemit, the busy strokes keeps pressing,
keeps on creating, the white letter on the stroke keeps awaiting,
to be pressed, creating attention, crowd barging, shouting,
and my busy keyboard keeps giving, life, feeling, love,
defunct object when not in need, only alive with power and might,
this brings and touches the souls that replaces the typewriter of old!
