Takengon, Country Tourism Above the Clouds
The province of Aceh, is a province with a million natural and endless beauty. The westernmost province of Indonesia holds so much beauty that it never runs out to explore. One of them is Takengon City, a country on the cloud. Takengon City is the capital of Central Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia.
This city is very famous with its very high geological location, therefore takengon is called the land above the clouds. With its high location, which is about 1200 meters above the sea, the air temperature in Takengon City is cool and very cold. Around the area in the city over the sky there are several tourist attractions such as Laut Tawar Lake, Pantan Teroong and others.
Natural scenery that is so enchanting and spoils the eyes is felt throughout the trip to the city on this cloud. Passing the foot of Mount Geureundong in a tortuous way makes the head slightly dizzy but will be rewarded with a natural atmosphere that we rarely see. Just imagine with an altitude of 1200 meters above sea level if in the world of mountain climbing, the altitude is already in the mountain category. Therefore this plain is very suitable for the cultivation of Arabica, Tobacco and Resin Coffee.
If you are in Takengon City, your sense of sight will be spoiled with beautiful natural scenery. The beautiful scenery will be the richness of this archipelago. We will see Lake Laut Tawar, which is so wide and almost all over its surface. And surrounded by hills that make our view like a cup filled with water. Also not less cool the houses around the lake. Looks like a very wide dock.
