Trinitaria o Bougainvillea🌺
Trinitaria. Its scientific name is Bougainvillea spectabilis. It is also called bougainvillea, bougainvillea, papelillo, Napoleón, veranera, Santa Rita, camelina, paper flower and other names.
It belongs to the Nyctaginaceae family. It is native to the tropical forests of South America (Brazil, Peru and Argentina).
It is an evergreen climbing shrub that can reach a height of between 1 and 12 meters. Its trunk is thorny, branched and fast growing. It does not actually climb, since it does not have tendrils, but is supported by another plant or element that supports it.
Blooms can be of different colors: white, fuchsia, yellow, pink, purple, orange. They are abundant and almost completely hide the leaves.
