Business trip: Barcelona #3

As I said ....
I left earlier from the conference,walked down the La Rambla Street to the marina, then along the marina. I turn od the Passeig d'Isabel II and then photos.

I do not know how, but I came to Parc de la Ciutadella.

On the south side there is a zoo I did not go to the zoo, but I walked around the park and came to the Museum of Natural Science. The museum was unfortunately closed, so I continued walking around the park.

A little further away from the park is Arc de Triomf or Arco de Triunfo in Spanish. It is a triumphal arch built, by architect Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas, as the main access gate for the 1888 Barcelona World Fair. The arch crosses over the wide central promenade leading to the Ciutadella Park that now occupies the site of the world fair. It is located at the northern end of the promenade.

I walked down the small alleys. He bought a few souvenirs. the price that is exposed is not fixed and can be lowered for a few euros.
I came to the Gothic quarter of town.

Part of the city where is located Basilica Santa Maria del Mar (or church Saint Mary of the Sea) is an imposing church in the Ribera district of Barcelona, Spain, built between 1329 and 1383 at the height of Aragon kingdom's maritime and mercantile preeminence. It is an outstanding example of Catalan Gothic, with a purity and unity of style that is very unusual in large medieval buildings.

Unfortunately, most of the museums were closed or at the end of their working hours, so I did not come to see them.
I went back to the hotel
Tomorrow is my last day in Barcelona.
