The largest Brazilian Bank itaú Unibanco became a member Of ripplenet network[↻70%]

Five new financial institutions from Brazil, India and Singapore joined The ripplenet partner network to leverage xCurrent and xVia solutions in emerging markets.

Among the new RippleNet participants: itaú Unibanco, Latin America's largest financial institution, IndusInd, a leading Indian commercial Bank, and InstaReM, a Singapore-based payment solution provider, will use xCurrent technology to make fast and transparent cross-border payments between financial institutions around the world.

Brazilian payment provider Beetech and canadian Zip Remit also joined the partner network. These companies will use Ripple's solution called via, which is designed to "open payment corridors between users around the world." In partnership with the Lian International, the two companies will develop a closer relationship with users from China.
