The Pearl of Africa Rally:Round five
The race in which it is going to be the fifth round of the Africa Africa Rally Championship might be interesting this time.
This is because about 50 drivers have registered for it to happen and the records of the participants must be sent to the FIA for approval.
Just a total of 52 drivers including Suzan Muwonge and defending Champion Manvir Baryan from Kenya beat the deadline for the registration.
This was prior Saturday for the event due August 2-3 in Luweero and Kayunga districts.
Of the registered crews, the screening of their documents will occur as a way to drop two participants and send the required 50 entries to FIA before the close of business.
Now, the Shell V-Power Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally is the fifth round of the Africa Rally Championship (ARC) and records of participants must be sent to the FIA for approval.
The race which is also the fourth round of the National Rally Championship (NRC) is expected to be very competitive as crews will battle it out for maximum points for better positioning on the blog.
I think our local drivers are to compete with the foreign drivers led by Manvir in a Skoda Fabia R5 and Dharam Pandya from Tanzania.
There is another group that might miss the action which is known as Gomesi Racing Team from Zambia and Giancarlo Davite from Rwanda.
I am just looking forward to seeing theis happening, like it is going to be a real race of all seasons. i cant wait!!
